The Suunto Combo Console CB - Two-In-Line allows you to create a personal console according to your own specific needs. You can mount depth gauges by using the CB-In-Line Boot. You can also mount dive compasses to the front or back.
Suunto Zoop Novo is a great value, easy-to-use dive computer for recreational divers. Though Suunto Zoop is a great choice for your first dive computer, its full decompression capabilities and nitrox mode mean it’s designed to give you years of serious fun.
Easy-to-use push buttons, a straightforward menu structure, and a super-bright phosphorescent LCD display make Suunto Zoop really simple to operate. You can wear Suunto Zoop as a wrist unit, or mount it on one of Suunto's Combo consoles.
With its two dive modes – Air and Nitrox – Suunto Zoop is a versatile computer. It can be programmed for nitrox mixtures of 21% to 50% oxygen and adjusted for oxygen partial pressure of between 1.2 and 1.6 bar.
Using the Suunto RGBM algorithm, Suunto Zoop enables continuous decompression for optimal ascent time. Both ascent rate and available no-decompression time are displayed graphically with clear color-coded indicators. Visual and audible alarms are given whenever necessary and you can also enable maximum depth and dive time alarms.
Plan and review
You can test upcoming dives and view no-decompression time data for different depths before getting in the water with the built-in dive planner. When the dive is over, use optional Suunto Dive Manager PC software to transfer your dive data to your computer for further analysis and to maintain a detailed logbook featuring graphical representation of all your dives.
Did you know...
The name of Suunto Zoop dive computer was inspired by Zooplankton – animals that wander the oceans propelled by the currents.
The high-quality liquid filled Suunto SK-7 has set a new standard for dive compasses. The device features 2-3 times larger tilt potential than in conventional diving compasses and provides easy-to-read numerals.
The superior SK-7 has an exceptional tilt potential of +/-30 degrees, which is 2 or 3 times larger than in conventional diving compasses. The firm-grip bezel with a ratchet at every fifth degree is specially designed to prevent sand and dirt contamination, allowing smooth turning in all conditions. The compass is available in wrist, console, and hose-mounted models.
The SK-7 can also be fitted on the Suunto Cobra dive computer. It has easy-to-read numerals on a phosphorescent compass card and a large side-reading window.
By adding the SK-7 compass to different Suunto Combo consoles, you can create a personal console that meets your specific needs. For example, CB-double can be made by adding the SK-7/DS compass to the reverse side of the CB-One. Or you can configure your CB-one console to a CB-Two by adding an SK-7 compass on top. If you add the SK-7/DS compass on to the reverse side of the CB-Two In Line, you get a CB-Double in Line. And CB-Three In Line console is made by adding a SK-7 compass on top of a Two In Line console.
The horizontal and vertical components of the earth's magnetic field vary considerably in different locations. For this reason Suunto compasses are balanced for 5 different zones. If the compass is used in an adjacent balancing zone, many compass pointers will tilt only slightly. However, the farther a compass is used from its correct zone, the more its pointer tilts. In extreme cases, the pointer will stick. For this reason, it is extremely important to know in which country a compass will be used
